Premier League winners Arsenal have received a major boost ahead of the Champions League final as defender Jurrien Timber is now fit and ready to start.
The Dutch has been sidelined since March with a groin injury. His return strengthens Arsenal at a crucial moment.
Timber’s absence had created tactical concerns for Mikel Arteta. Ben White’s injury only compounded the problem further.
Several players had filled the role in recent matches. However, Timber’s return restores natural balance to the defense with the player seen actively training with the squad in Budapest.
Arteta also confirmed positive updates on squad fitness, confirming Noni Madueke is available despite recent concerns.
“No, the ambition is bigger, we have one [trophy] and we want the second one.”
Arsenal target historic double as PSG stand in their way
Confidence within the Arsenal camp remains high with the players believing they can overcome the reigning champions.

PSG enter the match as favourites due to recent dominance. They also defeated Arsenal in last year’s semi-final.
