Reality TV star and former BBNaija housemate Queen Mercy Atang has shared her thoughts on Nigerian content creator Peller’s unsuccessful attempts to meet US streamer iShowSpeed during his recent visit to Lagos.
Peller made several efforts to get the streamer’s attention, including moments when fans tried to inform iShowSpeed of his presence and fellow creators like Jarvis attempted to intervene.
Despite these efforts, security personnel prevented Peller from joining the livestream, leaving him unable to interact with the popular American entertainer.
Reacting on Instagram, Queen Mercy said she had watched all the videos showing Peller’s attempts and noted that it appeared iShowSpeed did not want to stream with him intentionally.
She described the situation as sad, acknowledging that Peller gave his all but was still blocked by the streamer’s bodyguards.
Queen Mercy also used the incident to deliver a broader message about social media.
She reminded her followers that online comments, even those made in jest, can be seen and interpreted by the people they concern.

She stressed that once something is posted, one cannot control how others will react, highlighting the unpredictability of social interactions online.
In her post, Queen Mercy expressed support for Peller, praising his efforts and persistence.
She wrote: “I watched all the videos of Peller trying to meet Speed. Even fans kept telling him about Peller, and Jarvis tried to tell him too. Honestly, it feels like he didn’t want to stream with Peller on purpose.
But Why?
Peller really tried his best to meet him, gave it his all. But in the end, Speed’s bodyguards still refused.
” It’s also a lesson for people. Be careful what you say about others on socials, even if it’s just for banter. You never know; they will see it someday. And once it’s out there, you can’t choose how they react to what you’ve said or done. All the best Peller you tried.”
