Popular Nigerian influencer VeryDarkMan and singer Seun Kuti have unfollowed each other on Instagram, triggering speculation of a fallout between the two.
The development comes amid VeryDarkMan’s ongoing legal dispute with Blord, further fueling online discussions about a possible disagreement.
Although the exact cause of the rift remains unclear, Seun Kuti appeared to take a swipe at VeryDarkMan’s fanbase, known as ‘Ratel’, in a viral Instagram story post shared on Wednesday.
“You are rats, not ratels. Why una dey disguise?”

The incident is particularly surprising given that VeryDarkMan had recently shown support for Seun during his clash with Wizkid over alleged disrespect towards his father, Fela Kuti’s legacy.
Reports also indicate that VeryDarkMan, widely regarded as a close associate of Seun Kuti, recently visited Fela Kuti’s gravesite where he performed a ritual involving a ram.
