The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in collaboration with the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), has repatriated an additional 51 foreign nationals who were convicted and sentenced for cyber-terrorism and internet fraud.
The move is part of an ongoing operation to address foreign-led cybercrime in Nigeria.
The group of repatriated individuals includes 50 Chinese nationals and one Tunisian.

This recent action brings the total number of foreign convicts deported to 102 since the repatriation exercise began on Friday, August 15, 2025.
According to a statement from the EFCC, these individuals were part of a larger group of 192 foreign nationals arrested during a sting operation in Lagos.
The arrests followed intelligence reports concerning a major cybercrime syndicate operating within the country.
The anti-graft agency indicated that more deportations are planned for the coming days as the exercise continues.
