Record producer and music executive, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has opened up about how difficult it was for him to part ways with former Mavin Records artist, Di’Ja.
Speaking during a recent episode of the Crea8torium podcast, Don Jazzy said the situation was emotionally challenging, adding that Di’ja could also sense how uncomfortable he was while the decision was being communicated.
According to him, he considers every artiste signed to his label as family, which made the experience even more painful.

Di’ja joined Mavin Records on February 14, 2014, and released several singles alongside an EP under the label between 2014 and 2017.
However, in 2023, the singer explained that she never officially exited the label, stating instead that “life happened.”
