Nnadozie celebrates third straight CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award with heartfelt message

Chiamaka Nnadozie reacts emotionally after winning her third straight CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award, praising supporters and reflecting on her journey.

Chiamaka Nnadozie delivered an emotional reaction after winning the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award for the third consecutive time.

The Nigerian goalkeeper edged Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini to secure the honour once again.

The 24-year-old, who first claimed the award in 2023 before retaining it last year, expressed deep appreciation moments after receiving the trophy. Although she has now dominated the category for three straight years, Nnadozie remained humble as her words carried both pride and gratitude.

After stepping onto the stage, Nnadozie wasted no time acknowledging the support system behind her success.

“I just want to thank God for bringing us all here safely,” she said with genuine emotion.

“A big thank you to the organisers, CAF President Patrice Motsepe, NFF President Ibrahim Gusau and Secretary General Mohammed Sanusi.”

The Brighton Women’s goalkeeper highlighted what the moment meant to her personally.
