Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen delivered a goal and an assist to lead Galatasaray past Göztepe in the Turkish Süper Lig on Saturday. The Yellow and Reds secured a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory at RAMS Park on Saturday night.
The visiting side stunned home supporters by opening the scoring through Novatus Miroshi’s 16th-minute strike. However, Galatasaray responded before halftime as Colombian defender and former Tottenham man Davinson Sánchez restored parity with a powerful header.
The hosts completed their dynamic comeback ten minutes into the second half through brilliant teamwork. Gabriel Sara found the back of the net after receiving a precise setup from Osimhen.

Osimhen added his name to the scoresheet by converting a confident 63rd-minute penalty kick. That spot-kick granted Galatasaray a comfortable two-goal cushion heading into the final stages.

Although Göztepe reduced the deficit through Juan two minutes later, Galatasaray held on firmly. The hosting champions claimed maximum points to maintain their strong domestic league position.
Osimhen now boasts an impressive tally of five goals across three league appearances this season as the Nigerian superstar continues his exceptional form.
