Cole Palmer has brushed aside speculation linking him with Manchester United, insisting his focus remains firmly on Chelsea.
The 23-year-old playmaker says talk of a potential move is nothing more than noise.
The England international, who joined from Manchester City in 2023, has quickly become a key figure at Stamford Bridge. However, despite his impressive early numbers, his goal return has dipped this season, prompting outside chatter.
Reports have suggested homesickness could influence his future, especially given his childhood ties to United. Yet Palmer dismissed those claims, making his stance crystal clear.
“Everyone just talks,” Palmer said. “When I see it I just laugh. Obviously Manchester is my home. All my family are there, but I don’t miss it.
“Maybe I’ll miss it if I don’t go for three months or something. But then when I get home I think there’s nothing there for me anyway.”

Still, Palmer remains fully invested in Chelsea’s long-term vision after signing a contract extension until 2033. He believes the club is building towards something significant and wants to be part of that journey.
“I’ve got no plans to move from Chelsea,” he added. “We’ve still got a lot to play for. We’ve got the FA Cup semi-final and if we finish in a Champions League spot it puts us in a good position to sign players that we need.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea continue their push for a top-five finish, with a crucial clash looming against Manchester United. The outcome could shape both their European hopes and summer recruitment strategy.
Palmer also revealed internal conversations with captain Reece James and club leadership regarding reinforcements. The pair, he says, are aligned on strengthening the squad.
“We spoke to the owners and they’re sure of the players that are going to do it,” Palmer said.
“Reece won’t sign a six-year contract if he’s not spoken to the owners and the directors.
“Me and Reece spoke a lot, about things we need, players we need to sign and how things need to be. He wouldn’t sign a new contract if he didn’t know what was going on.”
