He described Akindele as a talented filmmaker and someone who can teach other actors through her approach to making movies.

He said he appreciates the chance to observe how she handles her projects and guides performers on set.

However, Arukwe also pointed out that Akindele is demanding when it comes to acting.

He explained that while she supports actors and recognises good performances, she expects people who appear in her films to understand their roles and deliver properly.

The actor said Akindele does not easily tolerate poor acting and expects performers to come prepared to work.

He presented this part of her personality as one of the reasons she maintains a high level of discipline on her movie sets.

He said: “Every time Funke Akindele calls me, it’s always a blessing. She’s always commending my acting skills, saying she loves my work. She’s one of the best filmmakers and a great teacher. It’s always a privilege every time she calls me for a movie role, but one thing about her is that she doesn’t have patience for those who don’t know how to act.”
