Paul Okoye, one half of the now-defunct Afrobeats duo P-Square, suffered an unexpected fall during a live performance.
The singer, widely known as Rudeboy, lost his footing while performing one of P-Square’s hit tracks, Forever, at a show in Perth, Australia.
Following the circulation of the video online, reactions from Nigerians were mixed. Some critics pointed to his use of dark sunglasses during a nighttime performance as a possible cause, while others linked the incident to his ongoing split from his twin brother, Peter Okoye.
News Round The Clock reports that Paul Okoye parted ways with his brother Peter Okoye to pursue a solo career amid lingering disagreements over financial transparency, royalty distribution, and the management structure surrounding their music catalogue.
