Sophia Momodu’s legal team has cautioned Nigerian singer Davido and his followers after a series of heated social media posts linked to the ongoing child custody battle.
The warning comes in response to online messages expressing anger at court proceedings involving Davido and his late son.
Reports indicate that the posts targeted Ebelechukwu Enedah, a lawyer representing Sophia Momodu, criticizing her conduct during cross-examination.
Some messages also wrongly involved gospel singer Tosin Bee, which led to harassment directed at her social media accounts.
Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, acting for Sophia, said the case is still before the court and stressed that its outcome will be determined by evidence and law, not public pressure.

The firm stated that attempts to intimidate legal professionals outside the courtroom threaten the integrity of the justice system and could undermine the rule of law.
The lawyers urged the public, including Davido and his supporters, to refrain from sharing comments that could interfere with court proceedings or target professionals carrying out their duties.
They reminded everyone that legal matters must be resolved through the judicial process rather than social media disputes.
The statement reads, “Our attention has been drawn to statements chiefly engineered by a Nigerian Afrobeat artiste, via social media, directed at our partner arising from her professional conduct in a custody matter presently pending before a court of competent jurisdiction in Lagos State.
“If legal practitioners are to be threatened, intimidated, or exposed to harassment outside the courtroom for asking questions, testing evidence, or discharging their professional duty to their clients, then the very foundation of justice is imperilled.”
