Tinubu condoles with Goodluck Jonathan over sister’s passing

President Bola Tinubu has sympathised with former President Goodluck Jonathan over the passing of his elder sister, Obebhatein Jonathan.

Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, urged Mr Jonathan to take solace in the legacy of Amissi, who dedicated her life to the service of God and humanity.

The President prays for the repose of the soul of the departed and comfort for all those who mourn this painful loss.

Madam Obebhatein, fondly called Amissi, was a teacher, businesswoman, mother, and grandmother. 

Mrs Obebhatein Jonathan passed away on Thursday, January 11, at the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, after a brief illness.

She was 70 years old.
