President Bola Tinubu is set to leave Abuja on Sunday for Europe, where he will spend three weeks on his annual vacation.
The President’s first destination will be London, United Kingdom, according to a statement released on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
The statement said, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave. His first stop will be London, United Kingdom.”

Onanuga also stated that Tinubu would return to Nigeria immediately after the vacation as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
“President Tinubu is expected to return home after the working vacation to join the hectic campaign for the January 2027 election,” the statement added.
The President’s planned trip comes amid growing political activities nationwide as political parties, aspirants and their supporters intensify preparations for the 2027 elections.
The statement, however, did not provide further information about Tinubu’s schedule in London or indicate whether he would visit any other destinations during the three-week break.
