President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Professor Chukwuma Soludo on his re-election as the Governor of Anambra State.
He described the victory as a testament to the governor’s “visionary leadership.”
In a statement released on Sunday Tinubu acknowledged Soludo’s “overwhelming victory” in Saturday’s governorship poll, noting that he is now only the third governor in the state’s political history to secure a second term.
Tinubu lauded Soludo, nicknamed “The Solution” for applying academic principles to governance, which he said underpins accountability, transparency and prudent management of people and resources.
The President recalled his visit to the state in May, where he inaugurated several projects executed by the Soludo administration.
He stated that the experience of seeing the good thinking behind the landmark projects was remarkable and will remain indelible.
