The West Africa Health Examinations Board (WAHEB) has commenced the 2025 National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) examinations in Environmental Health Technology at the Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET).
The Provost of LASCOHET, Professor Raheem Olasupo Akewushola, confirmed that the nationwide examinations began on Monday, 30th June 2025, and are scheduled to conclude on Friday, 4th July 2025.
A total of 59 ND and 37 HND candidates from the College are participating in the professional assessments.
Akewushola explained that the examinations would qualify successful candidates for the award of National Diploma and Higher National Diploma certificates in Environmental Health Technology, enabling them to contribute to the promotion of public health in Nigeria.

He also emphasised that WAHEB external examiners are overseeing the entire examination process, including supervision, conduct, and invigilation, to ensure transparency and maintain the highest standards.
The Provost commended the College Management and staff for their dedication, which, he said, has contributed to the smooth and hitch-free conduct of the examinations.
He reaffirmed LASCOHET’s commitment to training skilled Environmental Health Officers who will play vital roles in safeguarding public health nationwide.
