Werder Bremen handed timely Boniface boost as striker returns to training

Bremen manager happy to see Boniface back in training.

Victor Boniface is closing in on a long-awaited return for Werder Bremen with the striker’s recovery offering fresh hope.

After months of being sidelined with a knee injury, progress has been encouraging and his return could reshape Bremen’s attacking options.

Head coach Daniel Thioune shared optimism about the Nigerian’s situation: “First of all, I’m happy to have met him. We had a long talk.”

“He indicated that he wants to help us in our fight to stay in the league,” Thioune added.

However, Thioune remains cautious about his reintegration as he stated minutes will be managed carefully in upcoming fixtures.
