Nollywood actresses Wumi Toriola and Seyi Edun have put an end to their long-standing feud, rekindling their friendship years after their public fallout.
News of their reconciliation emerged when Seyi celebrated Wumi on her birthday and disclosed that they had embraced “growth, understanding and a fresh start.”
Reflecting on their renewed bond, Seyi described their separation and eventual reunion as a testament to the strength of their friendship.
“They say time and distance can test a friendship, but they can also prove how deep the roots go together. Reconnecting with you has been one of the highlights of my year, and it reminded me of the beautiful bond we have always had.”
“Our reconnection has shown me just how much our bond matters. I’m so glad we chose growth, understanding, and a fresh start”, she said

Responding in the comment section, Wumi confirmed that the two had reconciled and expressed her happiness over their renewed relationship.
“Ashabi i genuinely miss us. Love you so much dear friend and thanks for the huge gift. I’m grateful we came back to our senses. Love you.”
The disagreement between the actresses dates back to October 2020 when Seyi did not publicly celebrate Wumi’s son, Zion, on his first birthday.
She was also absent from the birthday celebration despite being close friends with Wumi at the time.
The situation later escalated after Wumi publicly criticised Seyi and made remarks about her inability to have a child.
Their strained relationship worsened in June 2021 when Wumi also failed to acknowledge Seyi’s birthday.
