Elon Musk’s AI startup xAI has released Grok-4 on Thursday, pricing the chatbot’s premium access at $300 per month for enterprise users.
xAI, the artificial intelligence company founded by Elon Musk, has officially rolled out Grok-4, the latest version of its chatbot, with a $300 monthly subscription plan targeted at enterprise customers.
The company disclosed the launch in a statement published on Thursday, stating that the new version offers improved reasoning, expanded coding ability, and reduced latency. Grok-4 also integrates with X (formerly Twitter), which Musk owns, allowing direct data access for real-time responses.

According to xAI, Grok-4 has been trained on proprietary datasets and open web sources, giving it broader contextual awareness than its predecessors. The company noted that it is designed for productivity tasks, technical problem-solving, and enhanced scalability for business environments.
“Elon Musk’s vision with Grok is to create an AI that understands and engages with users more naturally while being deeply integrated with real-world data,” xAI said in the release.
The $300/month tier is part of xAI’s strategy to monetize high-end AI services while continuing to offer a basic version of Grok to regular users of X’s Premium+ plan.
The rollout places xAI in closer competition with other major players in the generative AI space, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google DeepMind.
