The development was marked by separate handover ceremonies at the OSGF headquarters in Abuja.

Kana stressed the importance of unity, collaboration and effective engagement with stakeholders.

He noted that the responsibilities attached to both offices require strong institutional cooperation and a shared commitment to service delivery.

According to him, maintaining cordial working relationships within and outside the OSGF would be essential to achieving the goals of the federal government.

Assuming leadership of the Political and Economic Affairs Office, Warrens pledged to uphold professionalism and strengthen coordination in the implementation of government policies.

She said her office would focus on closely monitoring political and economic programmes of the Federal Government while ensuring effective policy coordination.

Warrens also appreciated Abia Efiok, the Director who previously oversaw the office, for sustaining its operations.

She added that she intended to build on the foundation already established with dedication and commitment to national development.

Commitment

In the same vein, Aminu, who now heads the Special Services Office, assured staff and stakeholders of his commitment to integrity, loyalty and effective service.

Describing the office as central to national stability and security coordination, he emphasised the need for teamwork and stakeholder collaboration in developing and implementing government security policies.

The handover ceremonies also featured goodwill messages from outgoing officials, including the former Permanent Secretary of the Special Services Office, Mohammed Sanusi Danjuma, and Efiok.

They expressed appreciation to members of staff for their support and cooperation during their time in office and encouraged workers to extend the same level of commitment and loyalty to the new leadership.

The appointments are expected to bring renewed energy and direction to the OSGF as it continues to coordinate federal policies and support national governance and security operations.
