Tinubu mourns CEO of Access Holdings, Abimbola Ogunbanjo and family members

President Bola Tinubu on Sunday expressed profound sorrow at the loss of Herbert Wigwe, a prominent banker and entrepreneur, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, former Group Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, along with members of the Wigwe family, who died in a helicopter accident in the United States.

In a statement released by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the President conveyed shock and deep distress upon receiving the news.

Tinubu mourned the passing of these distinguished Nigerian business leaders, describing it as an overwhelming tragedy.

He extended heartfelt condolences to the Wigwe and Ogunbanjo families, the business community, and all affected by this devastating incident.

Tinubu prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed souls and urged God to comfort the grieving Nigerians and the families of the deceased during this difficult time.

Herbert Wigwe, the CEO of Access Holdings Plc and founder of the How Foundation, was among those lost in the accident.
