Nollywood actress Uche Montana has refuted claims linking her to the alleged drug problem involving actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress issued a statement on Instagram on Monday, addressing the allegations days after Nwoko reportedly mentioned her name and that of Sonia Uche in a post where he accused some people close to Regina of interfering with her treatment process.
According to the senator’s claims, those mentioned were said to have ignored medical instructions restricting their access to Regina and were allegedly supplying her with substances she was being treated for.

Responding to the accusation, Montana made it clear that she had no involvement in the matter and only decided to speak to clear her name and protect her peace.
She wrote on her Instagram page:
“My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims.
For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”
Her response comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Regina Daniels’ marriage.
Two weeks ago, Regina had alleged in a viral video that she was being mistreated in her husband’s home.
Nwoko dismissed her claims, insisting that she was battling addiction issues and had become violent toward domestic staff.
