Nigerian Afrobeats star Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML, has described his dating life as chaotic.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Reprezent podcast, the singer said the disordered nature of the Lagos dating scene inspired his popular song Ashawo.
“In my song ‘Ashawo’ I was trying to paint a picture of what the dating scene is like in Lagos where I live. It’s a mess,” he explained.
Sharing more about his personal relationships, Fireboy admitted that his love life has not been smooth. “It is chaotic. But I thrive with girls. When I’m under pressure, I usually find balance in girls,” he said.
