After years of near misses, Beyoncé has finally claimed the Album of the Year award at the 2025 Grammys for Cowboy Carter, marking a historic moment in her legendary career.

The music icon, who holds the record as the most awarded and nominated artist in Grammys history, had been up for the prestigious honor four times before, with many fans believing she had been repeatedly overlooked.

In her acceptance speech, Beyoncé paid tribute to Linda Martell, a trailblazer for Black artists in country music, saying, “I wanna dedicate this to Miss Martell, and I hope we just keep pushing forward, opening doors.”

Although she skipped the red carpet, Beyoncé stunned in a custom Schiaparelli gown while accepting her Best Country Album award. The body-hugging dress, embroidered with a bandana pattern, shimmered with sequins and beads in champagne and cream, paired with elegant opera gloves—a sophisticated nod to country-western style.
