Erling Haaland shatters records: 100 goals in record time for Manchester City, fastest to reach 10 goals in a season

Erling Haaland has stormed into Manchester City history by hitting 100 goals in just 105 appearances. He now stands alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, who achieved the same milestone for Real Madrid.

Haaland’s historic goal came early in the Premier League match against Arsenal, where he scored after just nine minutes. With this strike, he matched Ronaldo’s 100 goals for a single club in the same number of matches.

For comparison, Sergio Agüero, Manchester City’s all-time leading scorer, took 158 appearances to hit his century. Agüero remains the highest-scoring overseas player in Premier League history with 184 goals.

What makes Haaland’s record even more impressive is his blistering Premier League form this season. His goal against Arsenal marked his 10th of the campaign, doubling the tally of any other player.

In just five matches, Haaland has set a new standard, eclipsing a record he shared with Mick Quinn. Previously, both reached 10 goals in six matches, but Haaland outdid that by a game this season.

Haaland is undoubtedly one of the world’s most lethal forwards, with more records sure to come. His speed, precision, and consistency are great assets that Manchester City are utilizing well.
