Former Big Brother Naija housemate Cross Okonkwo has revealed that he lost a lucrative business deal because of his open display of Christian faith.
The reality TV star made this known on X, saying a potential business partner decided not to work with him due to how boldly he talks about his belief in Jesus Christ on social media.
According to him, the decision was based solely on his strong faith and not on his professional ability.
Okonkwo made it clear that he has no plans to water down his beliefs just to secure deals or gain favour.
He said his values are more important than any job opportunity and that he is not ready to trade his faith for money or fame.

He explained that he believes all wealth comes from God and that being famous does not control his life or choices.
He added that he would rather have less than do anything wrong in the pursuit of money.
The former BBNaija star also reacted to people who still see him as the same person they watched on the reality show.
He said that while his physical appearance may be the same, his mindset, spirit and character have changed since leaving the house.
Okonkwo further urged people to stop comparing him with other former housemates.
He stated that everyone has a different path in life, adding that he holds no grudges against his colleagues and wishes them success in their individual journeys.

“So pls get that out of your head and have peace with it🥂❤️I will NEVER do anything evil for money. Even if I become the poorest or the brokest human being on earth.
I don’t care about fame.
“Yes I’m glad and blessed that I’m a famous person but that doesn’t change anything. All wealth belongs to my father. He alone has the secret to All things.And pls don’t ever compare me to any of my fellow big brother siblings. We all have different views to life. I love everyone of them. And I wish everyone the best ❤️”
