“It’s never a cool thing to live alone as a woman,” Pere Egbi claims

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere Egbi has said it is not advisable for young single women to live alone.

He advised that single women should share their homes with friends or family members for companionship and safety.

Writing on his X handle, he said, “Personal advice to young women living in Nigeria who are single, don’t live alone by yourself. Have someone stay with you always. A friend, family member/s. It’s never a cool thing to live alone as a woman.”

When a fan asked if his comment was linked to the recent death of female singer Ifunanya Nwangene, who reportedly died after a snake bite at her Abuja residence, Pere replied, “everything.”

He further added that, in general, it is “not good to live alone,” regardless of gender.
