Delta North Senator, Ned Nwoko, has revealed that his wife, popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, must undergo rehabilitation to address issues of drug abuse and protect her overall well-being.
The lawmaker explained that his decision was driven by concern for her health and their children’s future. He emphasized that he wants her alive, stable, and capable of caring for their two young sons.
Speaking in an interview with journalists on Sunday, Nwoko noted that the rehabilitation plan was necessary to help the 25-year-old actress regain her emotional balance and mental stability.

According to him, the move followed a series of disturbing toxicology reports that showed high levels of dangerous substances in Daniels’ system.
The senator further disclosed that his wife’s once calm nature had recently taken a troubling turn, marked by violent outbursts, destructive tendencies, and recurring health crises.
“I want her alive and healthy, not just for me, but for our children.
“We have two young kids together, and they cannot fight for themselves, so I’m going to fight for them by safeguarding their mother.
“Many people have died of drug overdose, and if anything happens to her now, what will I tell her children tomorrow,” he asked.
