The EFCC, through its verified social media account, posted a photo of the former governor labeled ‘WANTED’.

NRTC WEEKLY gathered that prior to this declaration, the EFCC had reportedly attempted to arrest Bello in Abuja, but was thwarted by the current Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo.

In response to the unfolding events, Nigerians took to social media to both praise Ododo’s loyalty and criticize his interference with the EFCC’s operations.

Sports: EPL title race

NRTC WEEKLY gathered that the Premier League title race has traditionally been dominated by heavyweight clubs with deep pockets and extensive trophy cabinets. However, this season, with other teams triumphing in European competitions, football enthusiasts across England are witnessing a refreshing change.

Premier League Flag

Manchester City, the reigning champions three times over, suffered elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid. Liverpool’s aspirations in Europe were dashed in the Europa League, while Arsenal’s resurgence fell short against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The absence of European distractions has shifted all attention to the domestic league. Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal, separated by just a single point at the summit, are engaged in an enthralling battle for Premier League supremacy.

For fans, this unexpected twist has reignited their passion for the Premier League, with every fixture now carrying immense significance, devoid of any European hangover.

This season, NRTC WEEKLY highlighted isn’t solely about the usual contenders. The absence of European commitments has created an opportunity for other teams to challenge for a top-four finish or even secure a spot in the Champions League. This broader competition for glory introduces new narratives and teams to the forefront, providing neutral spectators with additional reasons to tune in.

With European distractions sidelined, the Premier League title race has taken center stage. This unforeseen development is a boon for football enthusiasts, promising a season replete with excitement, intrigue, and the sheer delight of witnessing teams vie for English football’s most coveted prize.
