Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen returned from injury and scored his 20th goal of the season as Galatasaray defeated Fenerbahçe 3–0 in the Istanbul derby at Rams Park.
A celebratory post on the Soar Super Eagles Facebook page highlighted the milestone, noting Osimhen’s achievement for the Turkish champions.
Fenerbahçe had the opportunity to take an early lead, but Anderson Talisca’s 13th-minute penalty was saved.
Galatasaray took control of the game, breaking the deadlock in the 40th minute when Osimhen reacted quickly to Mario Lemina’s flick, chesting the ball before finishing instinctively.

Osimhen’s strike took his tally to 20 goals in all competitions this season, including 13 in the league and seven in the Champions League.

Despite missing several weeks with a forearm fracture, the forward has remained a key figure for Galatasaray, delivering consistently in crucial matches.
The victory kept Galatasaray top of the Turkish Super Lig with 71 points, seven clear of Fenerbahçe on 64, with three matches remaining in the 34-game season. Their next fixture is against Samsunspor, while Fenerbahçe host Başakşehir.
