The Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CSP Iniedu AO, has cautioned against the spread of false information and urged Nigerians to use their platforms responsibly in matters of national security.
In a statement shared on his official handle Friday, CSP Iniedu said he would “prefer to maintain operational silence rather than disseminate false information,” stressing that the Nigeria Police Force remains committed to tactical deployments and strategic operations carried out by its officers.
Iniedo noted that the country is “saturated with keyboard warriors” who often lack understanding of the sacrifices and operations of the Police.

He warned against allowing social media platforms to be weaponized for subversive ideology or dissident narratives.
The Police spokesperson emphasized that citizens have a critical role to play in safeguarding national security and called for cooperation with law enforcement agencies to ensure accurate information and effective collaboration.
