Rising Nigerian goalkeeper Kayode Bankole has completed a move to South African Premier Division side TS Galaxy, sealing a two-year contract after leaving Remo Stars.
The 21-year-old joined the Rockets on a free transfer following the expiration of his deal with the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions. His switch marks the next chapter in a promising career.
Bankole spent five years with Remo Stars, where he played a crucial role in their recent domestic success and rise to continental recognition. His consistent performances between the posts helped establish him as one of Nigeria’s brightest young goalkeeping talents.

Following the path of greatness
By joining TS Galaxy, Bankole becomes only the second Nigerian goalkeeper currently playing in South Africa’s top flight, following Stanley Nwabali.
TS Galaxy, founded in 2015, is one of the league’s most ambitious young clubs. The team plays its home matches at the iconic Mbombela Stadium, a venue that hosted games during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
With this signing, the Rockets continue to strengthen their squad while adding youthful energy and international quality to their goalkeeping department.
