San Antonio Spurs sensation Victor Wembanyama and Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo have begun the new season in explosive fashion.

The pair were deservedly crowned NBA Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week after just two games. Although the season only started days ago, both players have wasted no time asserting dominance.

Wembanyama, now in his sophomore campaign, has elevated expectations again. The towering forward-center averaged 33.3 points alongside 13.3 rebounds per game.

Additionally, he posted a monstrous 6.0 blocks per contest to prove once more that he is a defensive nightmare. His impact has pushed the Spurs into early-season headlines.
