The Federal High Court in Lagos has directed the temporary forfeiture of a nightclub owned by socialite Mike Nwalie, known as Pretty Mike, following allegations that the facility was used for drug-related activities.
The order was granted on Tuesday by Justice Musa Kakaki after the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) filed an ex parte application through its counsel, Buhari Abdulahi.
The NDLEA accused the nightclub, located at No. 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, of being used as a storage and distribution point for 169 cylinders of nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, and 200 grams of cannabis sativa.
The agency stated that the property, which operates as Proxy Lagos Night Club, was managed by Pretty Mike and his associate, Joachim Hillary.

According to the NDLEA, intelligence gathered in October 2025 revealed that the nightclub was being prepared for a large drug-themed party.
Acting on the information, NDLEA operatives raided the premises around midnight on October 26, 2025, and recovered the substances while arresting over 200 people, including the owners.
The substances were later confirmed through laboratory testing to be controlled drugs.
In an affidavit filed by Deputy Commander of Narcotics, Nasiru Garba Bungudu, the agency alleged that the nightclub had previously been linked to drug-related events with the awareness of its owners.
After reviewing the evidence and submissions, Justice Kakaki approved the interim forfeiture of the nightclub to the Federal Government and ordered the suspension of all business and entertainment activities at the premises until investigations are concluded.
The case was adjourned to January 28, 2026, for continuation of hearing.
