Everton, Manchester City, and Manchester United impressed with massive victories while Arsenal’s loss at Villa ensured the Gunners’ lead at the top is cut short. NRTC takes an overview of results from actions in one of the most glamorous leagues in the world.
Aston Villa 2โ1 Arsenal
Villa strike late to break Arsenalโs hearts
Aston Villa grabbed the lead through Matty Cash just before the break, punishing Arsenalโs slow start but Leandro Trossard levelled early in the second half, giving the visitors hope. But Emiliano Buendรญaโs dramatic stoppage-time winner โ after fine work from Kamara โ shattered Arsenalโs unbeaten run and gave a new twist to the title race.
Bournemouth 0โ0 Chelsea
Chelsea held again
Chelsea failed to rediscover their rhythm, even with Cole Palmer returning to the side. They created chances but couldnโt break Bournemouthโs compact block, with Robert Sรกnchez making key saves to preserve a point on a frustrating afternoon.
Everton 3โ0 Nottingham Forest
Toffees cruise at Goodison Park
Everton made a flying start as former Partizan and Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkoviฤ turned the ball into his own net.
In first half stoppage time, Thierno Barry’s wait for his first Premier League goal finally ended when he slotted home from a brilliant counterattack move to extend the hosts’ advantage. Dewsbury-Hall then rounded off victory with a powerful low drive 10 minutes to the end of regulation time.

Manchester City 3โ0 Sunderland
City in complete control
Another 3-0 result in one of the Premier League 2025/26 matchweek 15 encounters. City netted two first half goals four minutes apart courtesy of defenders Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol goals, with assists from Rayan Cherki and Phil Foden respectively.
Foden scored a goal of his later in the second half – precisely five minutes after the hour mark – to bring the Citizens two points within league leaders Arsenal, who had fumbled earlier. Sunderland defender Luke O’Niel was sent off in injury time, barely six minutes after coming on to the pitch.

Newcastle hold firm at St James’ Park
Bruno Guimarรฃes and Anthony Gordon’s goals in the first half set the tone for a brilliant home victory for Newcastle United Football Club. The visitors had lost Brazil defender Lucas Pires to a red card towards the end of the first half.
Although Zian Flemming, who replaced Armando Broja in the 86th minute, got late goal from the spot in the fourth minute of added time, it only served as consolation for Burnley as Eddie Howe’s side took all three points.
Tottenham 2โ0 Brentford
Spurs back on track with home win
Richarlison and Xavi Simons scored to help Thomas Frank’s side record a vital home victory against the manager’s former team. The north London side also kept a much desirable clean sheet.
Leeds 3โ3 Liverpool
Six-goal thriller at Elland road
After a goalless first forty-five, the second period proved to be a festival of goals. Hugo Ekitike fired a quick double to put the visitors in a comfortable lead only for Leeds to net two quick goals of their own, first through proven striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s penalty and then Anton Stach’s strike.
With the scoreline level at 2-2, Hungarian midfield general Dominik Szoboszlai scored to hand Liverpool the lead once more. However, there was still time for more drama as Japanese midfielder Ao Tanaka scored in the sixth minute of added time to ensure the points were shared.
It was disappointment for Arne Slot’s side who had managed a 1-1 draw against Sunderland in their previous league outing. Meanwhile the home outfit celebrated the outcome. They had come off a massive 3-1 win against Chelsea before this draw.
Brighton 1โ1 West Ham
Late drama at the Amex
West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen drew the first blood as late as the 73rd minute after unselfish play from former Newcastle striker Callum Wilson but Georginio Rutter levelled in the first minute of additional time to help Brighton avoid defeat at the American Community Express (AMEX) Stadium.
Fulham 1โ2 Crystal Palace
Palace edge London derby
Captain Marc Guehi scored the winner in Palace’s away victory at the Craven Cottage. Former Arsenal back-up striker Eddie Nketiah broke the deadlock before Harry Wilson restored parity.
It is now consecutive narrow home losses for the Cottagers who also lost their last league encounter 4-5 against Manchester City last Tuesday.
Wolves 1โ4 Manchester United
United turn on the style
Wolverhampton Wanderers have continued a terrible run of form after a heavy beating at the hands of Manchester United. Wolves fans were once again left hopeless after a disaster-class outing for the team at the Molineux.
It is Wolves’ 13th league loss in 15 games, having failed to record a single win so far this campaign. Having garnered two points, courtesy of two draws, Wolves are already favourites to be among the three teams that’ll be relegated at the end of the season.
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes led by example, netting two goals, with further strikes from Bryan Mbeumo and Mason Mount. Haitian midfielder Jean-Ricner Bellegarde scored the only goal for Rob Edwards’ side.
United move up to sixth on the log, level on points with fourth-place Chelsea, with both teams boasting 25 points after Premier League 2025/26 matchweek 15.
