Nigerian actress and reality television personality Beverly Osu has expressed frustration over what she describes as years of being underpaid despite her hard work in the entertainment industry.

The actress said that considering the level of effort she has invested in building her career, she believes her achievements and experience should have earned her billionaire status by now.

According to Osu, her body of work across different areas of the industry is strong enough to make her extremely wealthy, not just in Nigeria but across Africa. However, she noted that the financial rewards she has received over the years do not reflect the amount of work she has put in.

Speaking during a recent episode of Ghacha’s Chough, she explained that the issue has motivated her to advocate for better pay within the entertainment sector.

“I have worked so hard, my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire not just in Nigeria but in Africa.

“I am a very humble person but I know that my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire.

“So, I am fighting for better wages. I have tried different facets of the entertainment industry. From being a luxury model to video vixen to reality TV star and now actor. I have paid my dues.”

Osu further highlighted that her journey in the industry has seen her explore multiple roles, ranging from luxury modelling and appearing in music videos to participating in reality television and building a career as an actress. Despite these experiences, she maintained that the compensation she has received over the years has not matched the value of her contributions.
