Social media influencer Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has announced that he is ending his nationwide tour earlier than planned.
He cited challenges that followed his controversial visit to the Benin Palace.
During a livestream on Tuesday night, Peller said he would now focus on visiting only two states in the Yoruba region.
Recall that the Benin Traditional Council had sanctioned a palace chief, a queen, and other staff after Pellerโs unauthorized entry into the Oba of Beninโs palace.
The incident prompted suspensions, police involvement, and disciplinary proceedings, putting Peller at the center of a nationwide debate over respect for traditional protocols.

He said the incident disrupted his plans and made traveling across states increasingly difficult.
โI think I will end this tour. Problems just keep coming left and right. All the good I did on the tour never counts; the Benin boy I helped, itโs not out there. I am tired. Iโll go my Yoruba state, where I know if a problem comes, I can handle it,โ Peller said during the livestream.
