Afrobeats singer Adekunle Gold has opened up about the strong musical influence within his family, saying his five-year-old daughter, Adejare Kosoko, is already showing signs that she could become a musician in the future.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Great Day 20 podcast, the singer expressed excitement about being surrounded by music at home, noting that both he and his wife, Simi, are musicians.
“It is interesting to be married to another fantastic singer-songwriter and now our daughter is already giving signs that she might be one for the music as well,” he revealed.

During the conversation, Adekunle Gold also addressed speculation circulating online that he and Simi had welcomed twins.
According to the singer, the reports were false, as the couple actually welcomed a baby boy.

“My wife and I didn’t give birth to twins, it is just internet rumours. We have a son,” he said.
Adekunle Gold and Simi tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony in January 2019. The couple welcomed their first child, Adejare, in May 2020.
