NRTC WEEKLY gathered that Nigerian entertainer Speed Darlington has spoken against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s plan to seek re-election in 2027.
He questioned the president’s fitness for another term and said his performance so far does not support a second chance in office.
In an interview with Honest Bunch, he pointed to the removal of fuel subsidy early in Tinubu’s administration, saying it triggered a sharp rise in the cost of living across the country.
According to him, many Nigerians who depend on fuel for daily survival have been hit hard by the resulting price increases, affecting transport, food, and other basic needs.
