The National Assembly has reopened the office of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, according to Channels Television report on Tuesday.
Her office, located in Suite 2.05 of the Senate Wing, was unsealed in the morning by the Sergeant-at-Arms, supported by a team of security operatives.
Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan had been suspended in March 2025 for six months following a dispute over the reassignment of her seat by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on February 20.

The suspension barred her from all activities of the 10th Senate and was linked to what was described as misconduct during her protest.
Although the suspension officially lapsed in September 2025, the lawmaker had not been able to fully resume her duties due to legal challenges and resistance from the Senate leadership.
Just last week, she wrote to the upper chamber to notify them of her readiness to return to work. However, the National Assembly declined her request at the time.
Further details are expected.
