Kwankwaso also confirmed that former APC governorship candidate, Nasiru Gawuna, would contest the Kano Central Senatorial seat on the partyโs ticket.
The decision signals a significant realignment in Kanoโs political landscape, particularly following Gwarzoโs resignation as deputy governor earlier this year amid internal political tensions within the stateโs former ruling structure.
Kwankwaso said the selections reflected the guiding values of his political movement.
