Nollywood actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji has announced the completion of his upcoming historical film, “KIRIJI: The Ekiti Parapo War”, describing it as one of the most challenging and rewarding projects of his career.
Adedimeji shared the news on his official Instagram page, expressing profound gratitude to God and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the project’s success.
He described the film as the culmination of years of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
“Yah Allah, which of Your favors will I deny?” he wrote. “Today, we stand humbled and overflowing with gratitude as we share this milestone. This project is the result of years of hard work, sacrifice, and an unshakable belief that something truly great was on the horizon.”
The actor also praised his wife and co-producer, Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, describing her as the backbone of the project.
He credited her resilience, support, and dedication as instrumental to the film’s success.

Adedimeji further commended the cast and crew for their professionalism and passion, highlighting their invaluable contributions.
He singled out the film’s director, Kayode Kasum, for his creative vision, as well as the director of photography, Mr Movies, and assistant director Ojerinde Gbenga, for their excellence and commitment.

According to Lateef, the film is more than just a production milestone; it is a labour of love and a testament to teamwork and perseverance.
KIRIJI: The Ekiti Parapo War explores the historic Yoruba conflict and promises a rich cultural and cinematic experience.
The production reportedly involved 62 days of intense filming, months of pre-production, and the collective effort of a dedicated creative team.
He concluded by thanking friends, family, and well-wishers for their support, noting that the completion of KIRIJI marks only the beginning of greater projects to come.
The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
