Mohbad: Candle light procession takes place across Nigeria, London (PHOTOS/VIDEOS)


On Tuesday, September 12, Nigerian recording artiste, Mohbad whose real name is Ilerioluwa Aloba mysteriously passed away.

According to reports gathered, the singer-songwriter died after suffering a ear infection.

The circumstances pertaining to the demise of the 27-year-old has raised concerns among fans of the singer. Specifically, videos circulating across social media hinted that the artiste was physically assaulted, threatened and stalked continuously by his former record label boss, Naira Marley and members of his Marlians crew.

The ‘KPK’ crooner has continued to receive solidarity from fans across the globe following his death.

Numerous notable celebrities such as Mohbad’s colleagues in the entertainment industry, Davido, Zlatan, Falz, and media personality, Oladotun Kayode who is otherwise known as D02dtun.

News Round The Clock gathered that the peaceful procession kicked off from Lekki Phase 1 Gate, and terminated at the Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island.

Also, the protest took place across cities outside Lagos state, including London, the United Kingdom.

Mohbad, who died on Sept. 12 and was buried the next day, was exhumed by the Police on Thursday for further investigation.
