Actress and filmmaker Etinosa Idemudia has issued a stern warning to women about the dangers of staying with abusive partners.
In a post shared via her Instagram stories, the Nollywood star cautioned women to pay attention to early signs of violence during courtship, noting that abusive behavior often worsens in marriage.
She wrote: “I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if he’s putting his hands on you while dating, shoving you, hitting your hand, pushing your head as an ordinary boyfriend… Be assured, it will graduate to full-blown beatings when you get married. Even before the marriage sef. He will beat you.”

Idemudia further clarified that her message was directed at women who are unwilling to endure abuse and want better for themselves.
“So this message is for the women who mind. Happy New Week,” she added.
The actress, who has been open about issues affecting women, emphasized that abuse should never be excused or tolerated, especially when the signs are already visible during the dating stage.
