The special session, which took place at the Fajuyi Pavilion in Ado-Ekiti, was attended by dignitaries including traditional rulers, senior government officials, and community leaders.
A major highlight of the event was the unanimous endorsement of Oyebanji by the lawmakers for a second term in office, extending his “social contract” with the people until 2030.
The newly signed laws, aimed at enhancing service delivery across various sectors, include the Ekiti State Quality of Healthcare Law, 2025; Water Resources, Sanitation and Hygiene Sector Law, 2025; Local Content (Second Amendment) Law, 2025; Statistical (First Amendment) Law, 2025; Senior Secondary School Board Law, 2025; and the House of Assembly Service Commission Pension and Loans Board (First Amendment) Law, 2025.
