The Lagos State police command has ended its investigation into the case involving Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Paul Adefarasin, and confirmed that the cleric did not use a firearm.
The case began in June 2025 after a viral video showed the televangelist pointing an object at a car spotter near his vehicle.
The clip sparked public concern, leading to his voluntary appearance at the Lagos police headquarters, where he was questioned and released on bail.
Police spokesperson Abimbola Adebisi said on Wednesday that investigators confirmed the item was a stun gun and not a lethal weapon.
