She never complained when I had nothing – Actress Seun Osigbesan’s husband hails wife

The senior pastor of Gracemade Christian Center and husband of Nollywood actress Seun Osigbesan has spoken warmly about her role in their marriage, saying she stood by the home and kept it going during difficult times.

He shared this during a church gathering held for her 40th birthday, where he spoke about how she handled family responsibilities when his income was very low. According to him, she took care of the home, paid bills, and managed daily needs for about seven years without complaining.

He explained that she also gave him steady encouragement during that period. He said she always spoke positively about his future, reminding him that he would succeed and rise in life, which helped him stay focused despite challenges.

He also recalled how the family went through very hard moments, including times when they could not afford diapers for their children and had to use nylon instead. He added that there were days when their meals were very limited, with pap being the main food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Despite all these struggles, he said she never spoke to him in a harsh way or made him feel like a failure. Instead, she remained calm, supportive, and patient throughout the period.

He said: โ€œI am very comfortable to ask her because I know that she will come through. Even when I did not have anything, she was consistent and never complained. She carried a lot of burden, real bills, for at least seven years and never complained. Baby, I believe in you, you can do it, you are a great man, you are a millionaire.

“You are a billionaire. She kept speaking those words into my life, and that kept me going. There was a time, we could not afford diapers, and she used black nylon as diapers for the children. At a point, what the family ate was pap for breakfast, pap for lunch and pap for dinner. She never said, โ€˜What kind of man is this?โ€™ She never made me feel like I was failing.โ€
