Nigerian music star Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, who uses the stage name Spyro has revealed that he is officially engaged.
The singer made the announcement on Instagram, where he shared the story of how he met his fiancée, @_callme_njure, in what he described as a completely unexpected setting.
According to Spyro, their paths crossed on March 30, 2024, at 2:48 a.m. inside a Lagos club where he was working at the time.
He described her as the “answer to his prayers” and expressed gratitude for finding love when he least expected it.

Sharing the news, he wrote: “On the 30th of march 2024 my world paused as i found love in an unexpected plc at exactly 2:48am. I met the answer to my prayers @_callme_njure in a Lagos Club while at work and from then till now I have lived every single day a very happy man. Thank you for saying YES my sweet J. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
The artist added that ever since their meeting, he has lived each day in happiness and looks forward to building a life together with his partner, whom he fondly calls “my sweet J.”
Following his announcement, fans and well-wishers have flooded his page with congratulatory messages, celebrating the couple’s big step.
