Why is everyone naked?: Curious case of the prevalence of nudity on social media

Attention is a drug, hence, go one more, share more lewd photos of yourself on the internet; it could be- to make funds, to garner traction (for ones brands or business) or to tease men with her sexuality.

Feminism has bestowed women with the fundamental rights to express themselves in the manner and approach that appeals to them. They can expose their skin online without being judged.

They want to put their photos on the internet to garner male attraction, let no one lie to you, no one shares their photos online just because “they want it to serve as a diary”.

Behind every action, there is an underlying reason- some of these perpetrators have unapologetically accepted that they are prostitutes selling their private parts money, others are still surreptitious with their intentions.

Once again, to each is own. Hey, women have claimed to be caged for donkey years, hence, a generation that grew up watching the steamy television program such as Keeping Up With The Kardashians, reality shows such as Big Brother Africa/Naija, the kinkiness of cultural imperialism, the list goes on.

Everyone wants to mirror themselves after whom they admire.

Watching the sextape of several top celebrities leak on social media, why shouldn’t the modern woman pick up the pieces and continue from where their heroes left off.
