Bola Ahmed Tinubu is often regarded as a king maker who was instrumental in the installation of Buhari as president in 2015.

He was one of the leading contenders to replace Buhari and won over majority of the delegates votes at the ruling all progressive congress (APC) presidential primaries in Abuja earlier today.

Tinubu was later announced as the winner of the primaries and was presented by President Buhari as APC’s flag bearer for the 2023 presidential election. He defeated the likes of Rotimi Ameachi, the Minister for transportation and vice president Yemi Osinbajo, to emerge winner.

The 2023 presidential election will be keenly contested between the candidates of the two biggest political parties; PDP’s Atiku Abubakar, who is from the North, and APC’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu, from the South.

The biggest challenger to the two bigwigs is the youth’s favourite, Peter Obi. Who is also from the South and recently left the PDP, to become the flag bearer of the Labour’s Party.

Get your PVC guys and remember to vote for competence and capacity when the time comes. Do not mortgage your future and those of your children please!

May Nigeria succeed, and I pray that our fortunes change for good come 2023.
