OnePlus is replacing the Alert Slider with an AI button on the upcoming OnePlus 13s in the Asian market.
The Plus Key gives users the ability to select functions which include sound profile management, camera launch and AI tools through a basic button press.
The hardware replacement includes “Plus Mind” an AI feature which extracts information present on screens to build a designated information storage area.
Users have the ability to transfer information such as schedule details and address information from images or text which the system then places into their calendar automatically.
The simple activation process requires users to either press the Plus Key or execute an upward three-finger screen swipe.

The company will release additional AI features in the upcoming year including real-time translation capabilities and image reformatting and photo enhancement tools.
The company plans to merge Google’s Gemini AI assistant with native Notes and Clock applications for enhanced contextual operations. The Private Computing Cloud by OnePlus uses a combination of local and cloud processing along with end-to-end encryption to protect user data.
The OnePlus 13s model with these new functionalities will become available to Indian customers on June 5, 2025.
Users from around the world will receive these AI capabilities through device software updates which are scheduled for release later this year.
